Silvija Lunce is the most recent addition to Thrower Design. She’s not a native Texan or Austinite. Silvija grew up in Serbia, and is of Serbian and Hungarian heritage, but she got here as soon as she could in 2009.

Silvija specializes in site design for various commercial projects and brings several years of experience working in architecture and structural design using BIM-Revit and AutoCAD software.

She studied in Serbia at the University of Technical Sciences where she received her degree in Architecture. After working for several years for both large and small companies, she gained experience and knowledge in management, architecture and structural design, along with technical training in BIM-Revit at Austin Community College.

While traveling her own road of development and learning, Silvija became interested in tackling the challenges of transforming land into livable communities that enhance quality of urban spaces, where each project presents a unique approach and challenge. The highly-collaborative environment at Thrower Design provides this opportunity to foster new ideas and develop her knowledge in the process of permitting and designing large and small projects.

Outside of office, Silvija has a regular workout routine and likes to spend time with her friends and family hiking, traveling, exploring new places.
